How we pick our people

There’s no one kind of Water Babies person, so we’re always looking for people who can bring new perspectives and life experiences to our teams. There are generally two stages in our hiring process but sometimes this varies depending on the role. Between each round, we ask for feedback from your interviewers and determine next steps.

First stage

Your first interview may be held by phone, Skype or in person. You’ll be asked questions relevant to our company values and the criteria for the role. 

Second stage

We’re interested in gaining a greater understanding of you and a sense of what is important to you. We’re also interested in why you believe you’re suited to working at Water Babies. So, all applicants are asked to present the ‘essence of me’ to us, however you’d like to. 

After your presentation we may ask you to complete a role specific test.  

Finally, we’ll complete a second more in depth interview with you. You’ll be asked questions based on your application form, experience, technical knowledge and the skills needed for the role. You’ll be asked for examples of situations that you have been involved in previously.
