We are looking for a Quality Development Manager to join our busy and exciting Aquatics team. If you
are someone who has a real passion for everything aquatics, significant experience of working in the
leisure industry and are ready for your next challenge - we want to hear from you.
Teaching over 50,000 babies and toddlers per week across the UK, Ireland, Canada, Netherlands, New
Zealand and China, Water Babies is the largest pre-school swimming company in the world. Our
aquatics programme is the core of what we do, and ensuring that this is of the highest quality is
paramount.
The Quality Development Manager’s responsibilities will include:
•Leading on the development and implementation of the aquatics quality & compliance
programme across the Water Babies network.
•Supporting the Director of Aquatics to recruit and train a team of Aquatics Champions.
•Managing the Aquatics Champions and coordinating network visits.
•Improving communications between Head Office and the teaching workforce.
•Training as a Water Babies Teacher, Assessor and Senior Tutor.
•Managing the team of Water Babies Assessors and Internal Verifiers including organising
regular standardisation and development meetings.
•Developing and implementing the Water Babies Teacher Accreditation Programme.
•Managing and developing the Water Babies Mentor Course, Dip Course and Admin Course.
•Working with the Director of Aquatics, Aquatics Development Manager and Aquatics team to
develop and deliver the annual Teacher Conference.
•Supporting the Aquatics team with the development of the teaching programme to ensure it
remains world leading.
•Supporting the Aquatics team and the Senior Tutors to ensure that the Teacher Training
programme and associated CPD is of the highest quality in order to develop our amazing teachers.
The role will require you to work closely with our UK and international franchisees and Head Office
team, therefore exceptional communication, organisation, and planning skills will be key to the
success of this post
The Quality Development Manager post will be full time and permanent and we will reward you with

Qualifications
•Swim England Teacher qualified (preferable)
•CAVA Assessor qualified (preferable)
Experience / Attributes
•A real passion and enthusiasm for Water Babies and swimming in general
•A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the leisure industry
•Experience of managing complex projects from start to finish
•A passion for innovation and high standards
•Work in an accurate, organised and structured way that others can follow
•Ability to work effectively either as part of a team or individually
•Strong communication skills
