A detail-oriented and analytically-minded Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing financial data, generating reports, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making across our international portfolio of companies. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis:
- Collect, organise, and analyse large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
- Financial Analysis:
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Analyse financial performance against benchmarks and provide variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations to communicate financial and operational performance to stakeholders.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports as needed by management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Prepare presentations and detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Data Management:
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data quality checks.
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data is up-to-date and accessible.
- Strategic Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business growth and efficiency improvements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis processes, and reporting methodologies.
- General:
- Managing budgets & expenses and ensuring timely submission of requisite documentation for accountability and financial transparency.

Person Specification
Essential / Mandatory Requirements |
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred Experience: 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, or a related role Proven experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R). Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Able to work under pressure to prioritise and meet tight and changing deadlines in a busy environment Good problem solving skills and confident to challenge existing ways of working Thorough, organised and methodical approach to tasks Full Driving License Able to work flexibly including some evening and weekend work |
