At the end of every term there will be a Water Babies photo shoot in your area. Working with our specially trained in-house team (which includes some of the UK's most experienced, award-winning underwater photographers) we like to make a bit of an event of it. We love doing shoots, and our aim is to create a relaxed and happy environment that will get you that fabulous shot of your baby swimming underwater.
Over the years we've taken literally tens of thousands of photos. And by now, to be frank, we're pretty damn good at it! So much so that, these days, it's not really a question of 'Will you get a shot?' but will you be able to select from all your choices.
Usually parents attend their first shoot at the end of the first ten weeks - and it's generally best to come along when your baby is still less than 10 months. By the end of the term the babies will have had time to build up their stamina and have plenty of experience of going underwater.

On the day, your baby will do three submersions; as long as they (and you) are entirely happy about it. This is generally our maximum as it ensures your baby fully enjoys the experience and doesn't become too tired.
The person who will swim your baby in front of the camera for you is not only an experienced Water Babies instructor but has also been fully trained in all the nuances of placing babies underwater (an entire profession in itself!). Again this goes a long way to meaning we get the shot virtually every time. Furthermore, because we shoot digitally, each submersion gives you between one and three images to choose from.
