There are five main steps to becoming a teacher with us:
1.Completing an Assistant Teachers swimming course (hopefully this will give you a good idea of whether becoming a swimming teacher is the job for you).
2. Completing your full Teachers swimming qualification.
3. Completing a life saving qualification for swimming teachers incorporating Infant Basic Life Support speciality or equivalent.
4. Complete a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check through Water Babies' head office.
5. Completing your training both at Water Babies' head office and designated training pools. This can normally only begin when you have gained your Full Teachers qualification.
